About The 511 Building

(Minnesota Technology Center)

The 511 Building, also known as the Minnesota Technology Center, is a purpose-built carrier hotel and data center
ecosystem located at 511 11th Avenue South in downtown Minneapolis. Originally constructed in the early 1980s
and modernized in the 2000s, the building has become a core hub for digital infrastructure in Minnesota and the
Upper Midwest.

Today, the 511 Building brings together multiple colocation providers, carriers, and cloud on-ramps in one highly
connected location—giving enterprises, service providers, and public sector organizations a central point to
interconnect and scale.
